The layout in the chalet is great and there is everything you need for cooking to board games. The WiFi is excellent and the smart TV even has Sky Cinema on it. Our highlight was definitely the hot tub, so easy to use and the views from it either day or night are beautiful.
We definitely will be back again.

  Having had to cancel in 2020 and again in 2021 Tony the owner has been fantastic letting us know he was unable to open in may due to on going... read more upgrades and new pod and hot tube also new electrics. He arranged other sites for us, we really like the flodabay site with the seals in the bay and the otters on the land I can highly recommend flodabay when Tony opens in the next month or so please contact Tony you won't be disappointed. Tony also arranged fitting of a new mirror on our vehicle.   It took some time to get to grips with planning a week's trip to the Outer Hebrides for the first time. Now I feel I know it all and need... read more to return again already. Harris is by far our favourite island, the beaches, mountain climb, walks, swims in the crystal clear sea, great meals and really kind, charming people. Flodabay Cabin was absolutely perfect, a really comfortable sweet cabin, with fully working kitchen, oven and hob, microwave, fridge, (incl tea, coffee, salt & pepper) excellent bathroom / shower, very comfy bed with pop up TV screen! and the most important part.. the stunning views over Flodabay and hot tub. We would never book somewhere for the hot tub but here we used it every day, easy to use (uncover and step in) and we were able to enjoy those stunning views, even at night to enjoy gazing at the milky way, and also in the day to watch golden eagles soaring over head. Breathtaking. We were lucky with the weather, sunshine to explore and enjoy the views. It rained the last part of our trip and the cabin was the perfect place to rest, and get cosy in-between walks. The B&B is a separate business down near the house. The cabin is behind and up the hill with it's own driveway, behind a secure gate, and own land. beautifully remote. 2 lochs a short walk behind the cabin too. We... On the day of our arrival Tony and Sharon kept in touch with us to make sure our arrival was seemless and it really was. Tony and Sharon are two of the kindest people we have met, we had become engaged the previous night and upon sharing this news we arrived to a bottle of prosecco from Tony and Sharon to celebrate with which was such a kind gesture. The chalet itself is stunning, the views are breath taking, the place is spotlessly clean, there is everything you would ever need and the hot tub is a real treat. There are binoculars to watch the wildlife from the chalet and this became one of our favourite things to do during our stay, we saw seals and birds of prey from the comfort of the sofa in the chalet. A short walk down to the shore line from the chalet and we were met with 3 amazing seals swimming and sunbathing which really was a highlight to be so close to these amazing animals. There are two lochs behind the chalet perfect for a walk and explore especially when you are returning to homemade venison burgers and partridge sausages (make sure to ask Tony and Sharon if they have any... Overall this place is an absolute dream holiday destination. 30 minutes from the stunning beaches of Luskentyre and Seilebost for a day at the beach followed by a cold beverage in the hot tub surrounded by absolute peace and tranquility.

Tony and Sharon are both wonderfully kind people, give their chalet a try you will NOT be dissapointed!!!!! More
