The chalet itself is cozy with plenty space for weekend walking gear and amenities for cooking whatever you fancy! The hosts Sharon and Tony couldn't have been more helpful or friendly during our 3 night stay! Absolutely would return for more Island adventures and little bit of private seclusion far from anyone!

  It took some time to get to grips with planning a week's trip to the Outer Hebrides for the first time. Now I feel I know it all and need... read more to return again already. Harris is by far our favourite island, the beaches, mountain climb, walks, swims in the crystal clear sea, great meals and really kind, charming people. Flodabay Cabin was absolutely perfect, a really comfortable sweet cabin, with fully working kitchen, oven and hob, microwave, fridge, (incl tea, coffee, salt & pepper) excellent bathroom / shower, very comfy bed with pop up TV screen! and the most important part.. the stunning views over Flodabay and hot tub. We would never book somewhere for the hot tub but here we used it every day, easy to use (uncover and step in) and we were able to enjoy those stunning views, even at night to enjoy gazing at the milky way, and also in the day to watch golden eagles soaring over head. Breathtaking. We were lucky with the weather, sunshine to explore and enjoy the views. It rained the last part of our trip and the cabin was the perfect place to rest, and get cosy in-between walks. The B&B is a separate business down near the house. The cabin is behind and up the hill with it's own driveway, behind a secure gate, and own land. beautifully remote. 2 lochs a short walk behind the cabin too. We... Tony and Sharon were always on hand to give advice about where to eat , where to kayak or swim. The chalet itself was finished to a high standard and had everything required for a short break. The hot tub was a lovely addition and the perfect place to sit in the evening to relax and take in the beautiful views. This was our first trip to Harris but it certainly wont be our last !   Our first trip to the Western Isles and we were planning on camping for most of the trip, but thought we'd treat ourselves to a bed and breakfast for my... read more other half's birthday. Came across Tony and Sharon's website, and they offered their luxury chalet - they had us at the words 'hot tub'. On arrival Tony met us for a very thorough explanation of where everything was, and how everything worked, including the much anticipated hot tub, and very importantly the TV (Sky channels included) that rises from the bottom of the bed! The place was immaculate, with everything you needed for the stay - hob, oven, fridge, microwave, cooking utensils and the cutest chopping boards imaginable! The chess board based on the famous Lewis chess pieces was another lovely touch. Tony and Sharon were kind enough to include a breakfast pack for my other half's birthday, and he enjoyed a fry up on each of the morning we were there - the venison sausages were out of this world. This was easily the nicest, most luxurious, most awe inspiring place I have ever stayed. The views from the chalet are breathtaking - we enjoyed using the binoculars provided to try and birdwatch. There are two lochs to wander around right near by. The hot tub was the icing on the cake. Tony and Sharon are so lovely and welcoming, and so kind to post back a jacket that...
