This was our second visit, and both times Tony and Sharon were very welcoming and knowledgeable about the local area.
Harris has so much to offer and we look forward to a return trip.

A great place to use as a base as you can get all over the islands with stunning veiws every way you go .

The chalet itself is cozy with plenty space for weekend walking gear and amenities for cooking whatever you fancy! The hosts Sharon and Tony couldn't have been more helpful or friendly during our 3 night stay! Absolutely would return for more Island adventures and little bit of private seclusion far from anyone!

The layout in the chalet is great and there is everything you need for cooking to board games. The WiFi is excellent and the smart TV even has Sky Cinema on it. Our highlight was definitely the hot tub, so easy to use and the views from it either day or night are beautiful.
We definitely will be back again.

Tony and Sharon were always on hand to give advice about where to eat , where to kayak or swim. The chalet itself was finished to a high standard and had everything required for a short break. The hot tub was a lovely addition and the perfect place to sit in the evening to relax and take in the beautiful views. This was our first trip to Harris but it certainly wont be our last ! The fantastic new lodge is amazing the hot tub is fantastic too great to jump in with a beer and take in the superb view . Tony got us breakfast in the morning from the butty bus again a brilliant little touch. We love it up at Tony and Sharon's, and we will be having more holidays and little trips up to see you both.   I stayed at Flodabay for 5 nights and wish I'd stayed longer. I'd been in communication with Tony for well over a year and had to rearrange once because of... read more the pandemic - all communication was prompt and friendly with nothing too much trouble.

The excellent communication continued on the day I travelled and Tony was there to meet me on arrival to show me around. His pride in the cabin and its facilities was obvious and is entirely justified. The cabin is thoughtfully laid out and everything needed for a comfortable stay is there - even including SKY sports on the large TV that rises from the end of the bed!

The surroundings are absolutely beautiful with a number of lochs surrounded by hills that come to life as the light hits them to one side, and the sea to the other side. It's very easy to pass time sitting on the deck, or in the hot tub, with a bottle of the excellent local beer. I can also recommend Tony's venison sausages and wild boar burgers - and another beer.

Did I mention I wish I'd stayed longer? I've booked for 2 weeks next year 🙂 More
