This was our second visit, and both times Tony and Sharon were very welcoming and knowledgeable about the local area.
Harris has so much to offer and we look forward to a return trip.

  Having had to cancel in 2020 and again in 2021 Tony the owner has been fantastic letting us know he was unable to open in may due to on going... read more upgrades and new pod and hot tube also new electrics. He arranged other sites for us, we really like the flodabay site with the seals in the bay and the otters on the land I can highly recommend flodabay when Tony opens in the next month or so please contact Tony you won't be disappointed. Tony also arranged fitting of a new mirror on our vehicle. 3 nights were never going to be enough so as we
left we booked for next year but for a week this time.
The Seafood Buffet was the best we have ever had and
the home made Oatcakes were amazing.
See you next July guys.
Butty Bus-
This plaice sells the best Fish and Chips at a price
which we at first thought it was a mistake but it was
correct! WOW! The proper filter coffee was a nice change
from the usual instant. But most of all the friendly service
even though this place was so busy made it a real pleasure to
eat out here! We will be back!

Came across Tony and Sharon's website, and they offered their luxury chalet - they had us at the words 'hot tub'. On arrival Tony met us for a very thorough explanation of where everything was, and how everything worked, including the much anticipated hot tub, and very importantly the TV (Sky channels included) that rises from the bottom of the bed! The place was immaculate, with everything you needed for the stay - hob, oven, fridge, microwave, cooking utensils and the cutest chopping boards imaginable! The chess board based on the famous Lewis chess pieces was another lovely touch. Tony and Sharon were kind enough to include a breakfast pack for my other half's birthday, and he enjoyed a fry up on each of the morning we were there - the venison sausages were out of this world. This was easily the nicest, most luxurious, most awe inspiring place I have ever stayed. The views from the chalet are breathtaking - we enjoyed using the binoculars provided to try and birdwatch. There are two lochs to wander around right near by. The hot tub was the icing on the cake. Tony and Sharon are so lovely and welcoming, and so kind to post back a jacket that... Tony and Sharon were always on hand to give advice about where to eat , where to kayak or swim. The chalet itself was finished to a high standard and had everything required for a short break. The hot tub was a lovely addition and the perfect place to sit in the evening to relax and take in the beautiful views. This was our first trip to Harris but it certainly wont be our last !
