The film industry BFI is no stranger to Flodabay Farm way back in the 1938 just before World War 2 they filmed how life was on our croft through those difficult years. The film gives you a chance to get a feel of were you will be staying and how things have moved on over nearly a hundred years. The Film is 20 minutes long shot in black and white and is silent with helpful subtitles.

Harris was also one of the filming locations for the cult hit sci-fi movie 2001: A Space Odyssey you will get the chance to feel what the stars of the movie felt as our croft was used in the film and was based on Jupiter due to its Luna rocky landscape.
