Tony got us breakfast in the morning from the butty bus again a brilliant little touch. We love it up at Tony and Sharon's, and we will be having more holidays and little trips up to see you both. I stayed for two nights with my boyfriend and we loved the scenery that was around us encouraging us to use our time to explore and walk around flodabay. Tony and Sharon have amazing information packs and maps of the surrounding area which helped us plan out where we were going to go and what we were going to do. We were able to fully switch off from our busy lives by relaxing in the hot tub which has a Bluetooth speaker and when the night falls even has lights that come on. When it became colder outside into the evening the hot tub was still enjoyable with the perfect temperature. When it was time to go into the chalet we made use of the cookery appliances cooking a lovely meal. There was a good space to prepare and cook food as well as the clean up afterwards. The bed was comfortable and the telly comes out from the bottom which left the evening movie night feeling cosy and enjoyable. The shower is really powerful and is just what I needed in the morning to make myself feel fresh and then off for another dip in the hot tub to further relax. Again Tony and Sharon... Again Tony and Sharon were the friendliest hosts and really took the time to explain and show around the chalet. They engaged in chit chat and made my partner and myself feel really comfortable and like we really were staying at a small home from home.

I will definitely be staying here again! It is well worth the hype and the experience again.

  From what I heard previous to our stay, my expectation were high, and I am so happy to say it way exceeded my expectation, the views spectacular, the hot tub... read more relaxing, the double bed comfy, the amenities plentiful, but it was the little touches around the place that showed that our host Sharon & Tony really cared that our stay was as pleasurable and relaxing as we wanted.
If there's a better chalet on the island I would like to see it, can't wait to go back More

The layout in the chalet is great and there is everything you need for cooking to board games. The WiFi is excellent and the smart TV even has Sky Cinema on it. Our highlight was definitely the hot tub, so easy to use and the views from it either day or night are beautiful.
We definitely will be back again.

  I stayed at Flodabay for 5 nights and wish I'd stayed longer. I'd been in communication with Tony for well over a year and had to rearrange once because of... read more the pandemic - all communication was prompt and friendly with nothing too much trouble.

The excellent communication continued on the day I travelled and Tony was there to meet me on arrival to show me around. His pride in the cabin and its facilities was obvious and is entirely justified. The cabin is thoughtfully laid out and everything needed for a comfortable stay is there - even including SKY sports on the large TV that rises from the end of the bed!

The surroundings are absolutely beautiful with a number of lochs surrounded by hills that come to life as the light hits them to one side, and the sea to the other side. It's very easy to pass time sitting on the deck, or in the hot tub, with a bottle of the excellent local beer. I can also recommend Tony's venison sausages and wild boar burgers - and another beer.

Did I mention I wish I'd stayed longer? I've booked for 2 weeks next year 🙂 More

We were then taken up to the... read more chalet and were blown away by how beautiful it was and the view was spectacular. The chalet is very well equipped and spotlessly clean. We had a great 4 nights exploring the island it’s just amazing. We look forward to coming back. Thank you Tony and Sharon.
