Flodabay Farm

He arranged other sites for us, we really like the flodabay site with the seals in the bay and the otters on the land I can highly recommend flodabay when Tony opens in the next month or so please contact Tony you won't be disappointed. Tony also arranged fitting of a new mirror on our vehicle. Came across Tony and Sharon's website, and they offered their luxury chalet - they had us at the words 'hot tub'. On arrival Tony met us for a very thorough explanation of where everything was, and how everything worked, including the much anticipated hot tub, and very importantly the TV (Sky channels included) that rises from the bottom of the bed! The place was immaculate, with everything you needed for the stay - hob, oven, fridge, microwave, cooking utensils and the cutest chopping boards imaginable! The chess board based on the famous Lewis chess pieces was another lovely touch. Tony and Sharon were kind enough to include a breakfast pack for my other half's birthday, and he enjoyed a fry up on each of the morning we were there - the venison sausages were out of this world. This was easily the nicest, most luxurious, most awe inspiring place I have ever stayed. The views from the chalet are breathtaking - we enjoyed using the binoculars provided to try and birdwatch. There are two lochs to wander around right near by. The hot tub was the icing on the cake. Tony and Sharon are so lovely and welcoming, and so kind to post back a jacket that... Tony and Sharon are so lovely and welcoming, and so kind to post back a jacket that we carelessly left behind (declining our offer to cover the cost of the postage!) They are perfect hosts in a perfect location and we cannot wait to return - for much longer next time!

Tony got us breakfast in the morning from the butty bus again a brilliant little touch. We love it up at Tony and Sharon's, and we will be having more holidays and little trips up to see you both. I couldn’t have made a better decision, from the moment... read more I first enquired to the minute we waved goodbye our hosts Tony & Sharron just couldn’t have done more to make our stay perfect. Incredible communication, advice and suggestions, and the most delicious venison burgers & wild boar sausages (highly recommend ordering these)!
The chalet is the most beautiful, secluded corner of heaven I have ever stayed at, actually no words or photos will do justice to the utterly beautiful setting, I don’t think either of us have felt so relaxed, at peace and switched off in a very long time! The views are breath taking, the silence is indescribable and the location just unbeatable.
The chalet itself is kitted out with everything you might need including plenty of helpful and thoughtful extra touches as well, binoculars which were wonderful for hours of bird watching and seal spotting! They even put a few local beers in the fridge for the birthday boy, so unbelievably thoughtful! The hot tub was just incredible and sitting there looking out to sea at the end of the day was just magical.
I just cannot recommend this place enough, a real opportunity to switch off and reconnect with nature and yourself.

  From what I heard previous to our stay, my expectation were high, and I am so happy to say it way exceeded my expectation, the views spectacular, the hot tub... read more relaxing, the double bed comfy, the amenities plentiful, but it was the little touches around the place that showed that our host Sharon & Tony really cared that our stay was as pleasurable and relaxing as we wanted.
If there's a better chalet on the island I would like to see it, can't wait to go back More

Sitting in the cozy... read more hot tub watching the milkyway for shooting stars was something else! The chalet itself is cozy with plenty space for weekend walking gear and amenities for cooking whatever you fancy! The hosts Sharon and Tony couldn't have been more helpful or friendly during our 3 night stay! Absolutely would return for more Island adventures and little bit of private seclusion far from anyone!
