  Myself and my partner had spent lots of time trying to find the perfect place to stay on Harris and wowsers did we find it with Tony and Sharon's beautiful... read more chalet. On the day of our arrival Tony and Sharon kept in touch with us to make sure our arrival was seemless and it really was. Tony and Sharon are two of the kindest people we have met, we had become engaged the previous night and upon sharing this news we arrived to a bottle of prosecco from Tony and Sharon to celebrate with which was such a kind gesture. The chalet itself is stunning, the views are breath taking, the place is spotlessly clean, there is everything you would ever need and the hot tub is a real treat. There are binoculars to watch the wildlife from the chalet and this became one of our favourite things to do during our stay, we saw seals and birds of prey from the comfort of the sofa in the chalet. A short walk down to the shore line from the chalet and we were met with 3 amazing seals swimming and sunbathing which really was a highlight to be so close to these amazing animals. There are two lochs behind the chalet perfect for a walk and explore especially when you are returning to homemade venison burgers and partridge sausages (make sure to ask Tony and Sharon if they have any... The final experience of note for us was star gazing from the chalet's decked area in the evenings, we genuinely had never seen stars like it, there are so many and even the northern lights made an appearance during our stay!!

Overall this place is an absolute dream holiday destination. 30 minutes from the stunning beaches of Luskentyre and Seilebost for a day at the beach followed by a cold beverage in the hot tub surrounded by absolute peace and tranquility.

Harris is by far our favourite island, the beaches, mountain climb, walks, swims in the crystal clear sea, great meals and really kind, charming people. Flodabay Cabin was absolutely perfect, a really comfortable sweet cabin, with fully working kitchen, oven and hob, microwave, fridge, (incl tea, coffee, salt & pepper) excellent bathroom / shower, very comfy bed with pop up TV screen! and the most important part.. the stunning views over Flodabay and hot tub. We would never book somewhere for the hot tub but here we used it every day, easy to use (uncover and step in) and we were able to enjoy those stunning views, even at night to enjoy gazing at the milky way, and also in the day to watch golden eagles soaring over head. Breathtaking. We were lucky with the weather, sunshine to explore and enjoy the views. It rained the last part of our trip and the cabin was the perfect place to rest, and get cosy in-between walks. The B&B is a separate business down near the house. The cabin is behind and up the hill with it's own driveway, behind a secure gate, and own land. beautifully remote. 2 lochs a short walk behind the cabin too. We... On arrival Tony met us for a very thorough explanation of where everything was, and how everything worked, including the much anticipated hot tub, and very importantly the TV (Sky channels included) that rises from the bottom of the bed! The place was immaculate, with everything you needed for the stay - hob, oven, fridge, microwave, cooking utensils and the cutest chopping boards imaginable! The chess board based on the famous Lewis chess pieces was another lovely touch. Tony and Sharon were kind enough to include a breakfast pack for my other half's birthday, and he enjoyed a fry up on each of the morning we were there - the venison sausages were out of this world. This was easily the nicest, most luxurious, most awe inspiring place I have ever stayed. The views from the chalet are breathtaking - we enjoyed using the binoculars provided to try and birdwatch. There are two lochs to wander around right near by. The hot tub was the icing on the cake. Tony and Sharon are so lovely and welcoming, and so kind to post back a jacket that...
