This was our second visit, and both times Tony and Sharon were very welcoming and knowledgeable about the local area.
Harris has so much to offer and we look forward to a return trip.

  It took some time to get to grips with planning a week's trip to the Outer Hebrides for the first time. Now I feel I know it all and need... read more to return again already. Harris is by far our favourite island, the beaches, mountain climb, walks, swims in the crystal clear sea, great meals and really kind, charming people. Flodabay Cabin was absolutely perfect, a really comfortable sweet cabin, with fully working kitchen, oven and hob, microwave, fridge, (incl tea, coffee, salt & pepper) excellent bathroom / shower, very comfy bed with pop up TV screen! and the most important part.. the stunning views over Flodabay and hot tub. We would never book somewhere for the hot tub but here we used it every day, easy to use (uncover and step in) and we were able to enjoy those stunning views, even at night to enjoy gazing at the milky way, and also in the day to watch golden eagles soaring over head. Breathtaking. We were lucky with the weather, sunshine to explore and enjoy the views. It rained the last part of our trip and the cabin was the perfect place to rest, and get cosy in-between walks. The B&B is a separate business down near the house. The cabin is behind and up the hill with it's own driveway, behind a secure gate, and own land. beautifully remote. 2 lochs a short walk behind the cabin too. We... Seafood to die for and all just a phone call away and delivered any time 24/7! Nothing and I mean nothing is too much trouble for this family run oasis! Booked for 2 weeks as we left! WOW!
