It’s a lovely secluded location which is perfect for a getaway. Being able to stargaze in the hot tub really was the icing on the cake.
Highly recommend and hope to return in the future! Thank you Tony and Sharon!

A great place to use as a base as you can get all over the islands with stunning veiws every way you go .

  It took some time to get to grips with planning a week's trip to the Outer Hebrides for the first time. Now I feel I know it all and need... read more to return again already. Harris is by far our favourite island, the beaches, mountain climb, walks, swims in the crystal clear sea, great meals and really kind, charming people. Flodabay Cabin was absolutely perfect, a really comfortable sweet cabin, with fully working kitchen, oven and hob, microwave, fridge, (incl tea, coffee, salt & pepper) excellent bathroom / shower, very comfy bed with pop up TV screen! and the most important part.. the stunning views over Flodabay and hot tub. We would never book somewhere for the hot tub but here we used it every day, easy to use (uncover and step in) and we were able to enjoy those stunning views, even at night to enjoy gazing at the milky way, and also in the day to watch golden eagles soaring over head. Breathtaking. We were lucky with the weather, sunshine to explore and enjoy the views. It rained the last part of our trip and the cabin was the perfect place to rest, and get cosy in-between walks. The B&B is a separate business down near the house. The cabin is behind and up the hill with it's own driveway, behind a secure gate, and own land. beautifully remote. 2 lochs a short walk behind the cabin too. We... We would never book somewhere for the hot tub but here we used it every day, easy to use (uncover and step in) and we were able to enjoy those stunning views, even at night to enjoy gazing at the milky way, and also in the day to watch golden eagles soaring over head. Breathtaking.

On that, we left... read more the blinds open all night just to watch the Sun set then rise - fantastic. It was good to let the cares of the World drain away and just sit and watch that World pass by. We loved the hot tub. Sitting in the cozy... read more hot tub watching the milkyway for shooting stars was something else! The chalet itself is cozy with plenty space for weekend walking gear and amenities for cooking whatever you fancy! The hosts Sharon and Tony couldn't have been more helpful or friendly during our 3 night stay! Absolutely would return for more Island adventures and little bit of private seclusion far from anyone!

Seafood to die for and all just a phone call away and delivered any time 24/7! Nothing and I mean nothing is too much trouble for this family run oasis! Booked for 2 weeks as we left! WOW!
