I couldn’t have made a better decision, from the moment... read more I first enquired to the minute we waved goodbye our hosts Tony & Sharron just couldn’t have done more to make our stay perfect. Incredible communication, advice and suggestions, and the most delicious venison burgers & wild boar sausages (highly recommend ordering these)!
The chalet is the most beautiful, secluded corner of heaven I have ever stayed at, actually no words or photos will do justice to the utterly beautiful setting, I don’t think either of us have felt so relaxed, at peace and switched off in a very long time! The views are breath taking, the silence is indescribable and the location just unbeatable.
The chalet itself is kitted out with everything you might need including plenty of helpful and thoughtful extra touches as well, binoculars which were wonderful for hours of bird watching and seal spotting! They even put a few local beers in the fridge for the birthday boy, so unbelievably thoughtful! The hot tub was just incredible and sitting there looking out to sea at the end of the day was just magical.
I just cannot recommend this place enough, a real opportunity to switch off and reconnect with nature and yourself.

He had also prepared some breakfast snacks for us for the next day (the place is around 20-30min drive from the nearest shop). The pod itself is small as you would expect but a decent size for a couple and has high quality finishing. The hot tub was an absolute delight, with a view over the ocean and we even managed to get a glimpse of the eagles riding the thermals using the binoculars Tony left us. Would definitely recommend! The excellent communication continued on the day I travelled and Tony was there to meet me on arrival to show me around. His pride in the cabin and its facilities was obvious and is entirely justified. The cabin is thoughtfully laid out and everything needed for a comfortable stay is there - even including SKY sports on the large TV that rises from the end of the bed!

The surroundings are absolutely beautiful with a number of lochs surrounded by hills that come to life as the light hits them to one side, and the sea to the other side. It's very easy to pass time sitting on the deck, or in the hot tub, with a bottle of the excellent local beer. I can also recommend Tony's venison sausages and wild boar burgers - and another beer.

Did I mention I wish I'd stayed longer? I've booked for 2 weeks next year 🙂 More

It was immaculately clean and the bed was super comfy!

The location is great. Far enough away from the local town that it is peaceful and quiet, but close enough that everything you need is on hand.
It’s set in beautiful hills, after walking for only a few minutes we felt we were the only people around for miles!
It’s also right on the coast with a beautiful sea view!

It’s a lovely secluded location which is perfect for a getaway. Being able to stargaze in the hot tub really was the icing on the cake.
