  Having had to cancel in 2020 and again in 2021 Tony the owner has been fantastic letting us know he was unable to open in may due to on going... read more upgrades and new pod and hot tube also new electrics. He arranged other sites for us, we really like the flodabay site with the seals in the bay and the otters on the land I can highly recommend flodabay when Tony opens in the next month or so please contact Tony you won't be disappointed. Tony also arranged fitting of a new mirror on our vehicle. You won't meet a nicer host hope to be back next year to see the finished upgrades goodluck to Tony, Sharon and family please book places like this are hard to find these days Thanks Lee, fiona and Charlotte

  From what I heard previous to our stay, my expectation were high, and I am so happy to say it way exceeded my expectation, the views spectacular, the hot tub... read more relaxing, the double bed comfy, the amenities plentiful, but it was the little touches around the place that showed that our host Sharon & Tony really cared that our stay was as pleasurable and relaxing as we wanted.
If there's a better chalet on the island I would like to see it, can't wait to go back More

Harris is by far our favourite island, the beaches, mountain climb, walks, swims in the crystal clear sea, great meals and really kind, charming people. Flodabay Cabin was absolutely perfect, a really comfortable sweet cabin, with fully working kitchen, oven and hob, microwave, fridge, (incl tea, coffee, salt & pepper) excellent bathroom / shower, very comfy bed with pop up TV screen! and the most important part.. the stunning views over Flodabay and hot tub. We would never book somewhere for the hot tub but here we used it every day, easy to use (uncover and step in) and we were able to enjoy those stunning views, even at night to enjoy gazing at the milky way, and also in the day to watch golden eagles soaring over head. Breathtaking. We were lucky with the weather, sunshine to explore and enjoy the views. It rained the last part of our trip and the cabin was the perfect place to rest, and get cosy in-between walks. The B&B is a separate business down near the house. The cabin is behind and up the hill with it's own driveway, behind a secure gate, and own land. beautifully remote. 2 lochs a short walk behind the cabin too. We... It is spotlessly clean, immaculately kept, quality throughout, comfy and... read more cosy. "Everything" you need is there and even thoughtful wee touches like extra towels for the hot tub. The reference book was used often, very helpful and up to date. The hot tub in the evening was "truly wonderful"
Tony, your welcome was so warm and your understanding of our ferry re routing and trying to help whilst we got everything sorted was appreciated.
We'd love to come back again. In the meantime..continue doing what you're doing for your guests and providing your great customer service.

  Our first trip to the Western Isles and we were planning on camping for most of the trip, but thought we'd treat ourselves to a bed and breakfast for my... read more other half's birthday. Came across Tony and Sharon's website, and they offered their luxury chalet - they had us at the words 'hot tub'. On arrival Tony met us for a very thorough explanation of where everything was, and how everything worked, including the much anticipated hot tub, and very importantly the TV (Sky channels included) that rises from the bottom of the bed! The place was immaculate, with everything you needed for the stay - hob, oven, fridge, microwave, cooking utensils and the cutest chopping boards imaginable! The chess board based on the famous Lewis chess pieces was another lovely touch. Tony and Sharon were kind enough to include a breakfast pack for my other half's birthday, and he enjoyed a fry up on each of the morning we were there - the venison sausages were out of this world. This was easily the nicest, most luxurious, most awe inspiring place I have ever stayed. The views from the chalet are breathtaking - we enjoyed using the binoculars provided to try and birdwatch. There are two lochs to wander around right near by. The hot tub was the icing on the cake. Tony and Sharon are so lovely and welcoming, and so kind to post back a jacket that...
