I couldn’t have made a better decision, from the moment... read more I first enquired to the minute we waved goodbye our hosts Tony & Sharron just couldn’t have done more to make our stay perfect. Incredible communication, advice and suggestions, and the most delicious venison burgers & wild boar sausages (highly recommend ordering these)!
The chalet is the most beautiful, secluded corner of heaven I have ever stayed at, actually no words or photos will do justice to the utterly beautiful setting, I don’t think either of us have felt so relaxed, at peace and switched off in a very long time! The views are breath taking, the silence is indescribable and the location just unbeatable.
The chalet itself is kitted out with everything you might need including plenty of helpful and thoughtful extra touches as well, binoculars which were wonderful for hours of bird watching and seal spotting! They even put a few local beers in the fridge for the birthday boy, so unbelievably thoughtful! The hot tub was just incredible and sitting there looking out to sea at the end of the day was just magical.
I just cannot recommend this place enough, a real opportunity to switch off and reconnect with nature and yourself.
Huge thank you to our hosts and we will be back without a doubt! More

The excellent communication continued on the day I travelled and Tony was there to meet me on arrival to show me around. His pride in the cabin and its facilities was obvious and is entirely justified. The cabin is thoughtfully laid out and everything needed for a comfortable stay is there - even including SKY sports on the large TV that rises from the end of the bed!

The surroundings are absolutely beautiful with a number of lochs surrounded by hills that come to life as the light hits them to one side, and the sea to the other side. It's very easy to pass time sitting on the deck, or in the hot tub, with a bottle of the excellent local beer. I can also recommend Tony's venison sausages and wild boar burgers - and another beer.

Did I mention I wish I'd stayed longer? I've booked for 2 weeks next year 🙂 More

On arrival Tony met us for a very thorough explanation of where everything was, and how everything worked, including the much anticipated hot tub, and very importantly the TV (Sky channels included) that rises from the bottom of the bed! The place was immaculate, with everything you needed for the stay - hob, oven, fridge, microwave, cooking utensils and the cutest chopping boards imaginable! The chess board based on the famous Lewis chess pieces was another lovely touch. Tony and Sharon were kind enough to include a breakfast pack for my other half's birthday, and he enjoyed a fry up on each of the morning we were there - the venison sausages were out of this world. This was easily the nicest, most luxurious, most awe inspiring place I have ever stayed. The views from the chalet are breathtaking - we enjoyed using the binoculars provided to try and birdwatch.
